About Reuel Hon
Reuel Hon is an award-winning classical pianist whose performance career has taken him across the globe to some of the world's finest concert halls and locations, including Carnegie Hall, the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria, the Amalfi Coast in Italy, and Walt Disney Concert Hall. He is currently pursuing his Graduate Diploma in Piano Performance with Grammy-nominated concert pianist Andrius Žlabys at the Longy School of Music of Bard College in Cambridge, MA.
Artist Statement
As an artist, I strongly believe that music has the immense power to enlighten, uplift, connect, and bring people together. I am passionate about programming diverse and underrepresented works with ones that are classical and familiar, particularly by composers of Asian heritage. Through every performance, I strive to be the emotional catalyst between music and the audience while also showcasing their various emotional depths. By doing so, he hopes to connect audiences to classical music at an emotional level where words alone cannot express.
